Beginner training course FOIL 5 Sessions (15H)

THE KITE FOIL SCHOOL, as its name suggests, is a school specialising in Foil training.

Since the creation of the foil and its development by the Taaroa company based in Frejus in 2008, our team has taught the Foil to many pro-riders and practitioners of excellent levels who wanted to fly over the water in 6 knots of wind and perform in competition.

Nowadays, research and development has made enormous progress on the foil, which allows us to sail in all wind and water conditions, and the major stakeholders in the kite industry have begun to make the foils accessible to all kitesurfers.

However, learning the Foil remains dangerous, if it is not done in good conditions... These many years of experience of foil lessons showed us that we needed a learning method dedicated to the foil and that we could not teach in the same way as in kite ! Our experience of the foil makes our kitesurf school, "the Kite Foil School", a reference in the learning of the Foil.

Without revealing our trademark, to facilitate this learning, we have set up a pedagogy adapted to the foil which can be broken down as it follows :

- Step 1: Roll control

- Step 2: Pitch control

- Step 3: In-flight attitude control

- Step 4: Control of the ascent and descent into the wind

By supporting these foil classes with video coaching, it allows us to correct mistakes live ! There is no better explanation than to see yourself live to improve the points to work on.

COURSE OF OUR STUDENTS WHO ARE STARTING THE FOIL IN OUR KITESURFING SCHOOL :

To begin with, the ideal is a TRAINING COURSE (3 OR 5 CONSECUTIVE SESSIONS).

At the end of this course our students : master sliding with FOIL and are able to make their first turns downwind (5th Lesson).

2 At the end of the training course, they improve with PERFECTION COURSE CARDS 3 or 5 Sessions or with a Week of holidays in Cata-Kite 7 Days Training Course. At the end of the improvement classes our students are able to spin their edges by going upwind in wind conditions ranging from 10 to 20 Knots. They can usually buy their own equipment and start sailing alone in Saint-Aygulf in light winds.

3 To become completely autonomous in all winds, our students join the club with drop cards to be able to sail in perfect safety and continue to be supervised with our tips ;-)
