Description

9.30 am: Leave Nice, in front of the Hotel Beau Rivage 24 Rue Saint-François de Paule.


10.30 am: Visit to the first winery. An extraordinary chateau, a Cru Classé please! Powerful and aromatic wines with an age-old history. You will discover a timeless, endearing site. A stroll among the vines and a guided tour of the cellars. Tasting of the best vintages. Learn the steps of a proper tasting and the specificities of the Provence wine region with your guide : tips and tricks to taste intensely the wine !


12.00: Lunch in a Provence medieval village or in a winery. (Lunch not included in the price)


2.15 pm: Visit to the second winery : an unusual estate, presenting a completely different approach to creating and producing wine. An authentic and exclusive experience.


3.45 pm: Last but not least, the final estate will offer a delight for your eyes and palate. A Cistercian cellar and delicious wines… A must!


5.30/6.00 pm: Return to departure point.

The most amazing wine tour in Provence!

My friend and I booked a last minute wine tour of Provence from Nice in July 2021, and it exceeded our expectations in every way! Our guide Peter met us at our preferred pick up location (and was VERY nice about us being a bit behind schedule). He curated a custom day for us at three spectacular wineries.... in spite of it being Bastille Day, a national holiday, with many being closed! Each winery was different but special in its own way, and the tastings were spectacular. We visited Chatuea St Martin, Chateau Font du Broc, and Chateau D'Escalns (home of Whispering Angel!), and loved every minute. Peter was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to give us private tours of each vineyard. A 10/10 experience, for sure! Can't wait to come back, and would recommend to anyone else looking for a private and intimate wine tasting and vineyard tour experience in Provence!

I highly recommend taking this tour! We were a party of four and our guide was exactly what we hoped for! Peter was knowledgeable on all aspects of the wine business and also local info. The vineyards we visited were beautiful and had great wines. Even on a rainy day there was plenty to see and enjoy!

Incredible day of Wine Tours

My family and I had the most incredible day on this tour! I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to the South of France. We toured 3 very different unique vineyards and tasted so many delicious wines. Our driver/guide Danielle was so knowledgeable and we learned so much about the process of making wine as well as really interesting facts about the region and its history.

Thank you so much, Erwan, for this unbelievable experience. I’ve been to couple wine tours in the past year and I must admit, this was one was pretty Epic! my sister & I were joined by a small group, no more than 6 people which made the experience more intimate. We went to 3 wineries: Chateau De Saint Martin (Crus Class), which I must say my Favourite! We had a lovely lunch at the estate ( cost 28 euros). Erwan was charming, very passionate, and informative when he spoke about wine. I definitely could listen to him all day. He seemed very attentive and engaging with the group throughout the tour, made various inquiries of our experience with wine; what type of wine we drink the most & why etc. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. Did I mentioned that we tasted 28 different wine!! Yeah, it was awesome! Go ahead and book this wine your and won’t regret it. Thank you so much, Erwan! I hope you see you in the near future for another wine tour.

My wife and myself along with our 8 month old baby did the tour with Nanu. The whole experience was lovely and they were so accommodating to our baby. Nanu made the day one of the best days of our trip. The wine and vineyards were also lovely, though if we had our choice, the third vineyard with natural wine would have been replaced with something a bit nicer. It was a little run down and dirty. and the wine only mediocre.

We really liked our tour guide. She was knowledgeable and friendly. We would recommend this to our friends. The best part was that we were paired with people our age which made the tour very enjoyable. I am not sure if that was on purpose, but it was a good coincidence.

Guy who took the tour (sorry cant remember his name) was very knowledgeable and likeable. We went to 3 very different vineyards, 1 a traditional commercial one, 1 very commercial (and these 2 both produced recognised quality wines) and finally 1 which did not look anything like a proper vineyard, where the owner was kind of a maverick and just did his own thing. It made for a very interesting and highly enjoyable tour.

We had such an amazing personal experience with Nanou. Went to 3 different wineries. I learned so much about wine, more than I ever learned in Napa Valley. If you get the chance to choose your guide I recommend her. She was the highlight of our entire trip to Niće.

A great trip - the right length- comfortable transport & great guide Nano. Loved learning how to taste properly & using nose & palate. Thought 3 wineries- commercial but glamorous, natural & rustic & organic & stunning were a fantastic contrast to consolidate new knowledge. Loved this trip. Improvements- state pick up outside Meridien not MacDs; water to drink in wineries & a spittoon otherwise would get v drunk on large glasses of wine!

This was a fantastic day. Everything was very smooth from the time we arrived for the transport and met our host to drop off. A massive shout out needs to go to Danielle who couldn’t have been more lovely! She was very knowledgable and friendly. We had a great variety from the three very different wine venue experiences. We had a great wine tour and our guide, Nanu was very good at explaining about all the wines and Provance area. We visited 3 wineries and tastes good rose, white and red wines. We also had a lunch at one of the wineries, but we had to pay extra 22 euros extra per person. We think this should be included in the price.

I highly recommend this tour not only because of the great wines you get to try but because our tour guide Erwan was fantastic! He was funny, charming, and very thorough on his knowledge of the all the wineries and wine. He made wine tasting an an actual experience and taught us how to properly taste wine. I also, lucked out because my group was pretty great too. Again, I highly recommend this tour especially if you prefer smaller groups.

A great wine tour with Azur Wine Tours Vidivino

At our trip to Nice we decided to order at wine tour. Our choice was Azur wine tour, an we never regret. The guide Erwan gave us a an experience that was fenomenal. Our wine tour included a visit at three wine yards. The first was Chäteu Saint-Martin, were we taught the basics for wine making and tasting. In their own house we also had a fantastic lunch. The second wine yard was an ecologist production and we understood that the climate for each year could give different productions. At the last wine yard we went to Chäteu Font Broc where we visited their spectacular Cistercian cave. This was one of our best days at our holiday i France, so we recommend to all our guide Erwan and Azur Wine Tours Vidivino.
