Description

9.30 am: Pick up in Cannes at the train station in front of the Starbuck Coffee shop.


10.30 am: Visit to the first winery. An extraordinary chateau, a Cru Classé please! Powerful and aromatic wines with an age-old history. You will discover a timeless, endearing site. A stroll among the vines and a guided tour of the cellars. Tasting of the best vintages. Learn the steps of a proper tasting and the specificities of the Provence wine region with your guide : tips and tricks to taste intensely the wine !


12.00: Lunch in a Provence medieval village or in a winery (not included in the price).


2.15 pm: Visit to the second winery : an unusual estate, presenting a completely different approach to creating and producing wine. An authentic and exclusive experience.


3.45 pm: Last but not least, the final estate will offer a delight for your eyes and palate. A Cistercian cellar and delicious wines… A must!


5.30/6.00 pm: Return to departure point.

We really enjoyed this experience! We had a lovely guide, Peter, who took us to 3 stunning wineries. We loved the drive through the area and of course the wines were amazing. We learned a lot and had a fun time. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. The logistics and details were very easy as well.

Great day in Provence

I did this tour with my adult daughter. There were 6 others on the tour so it was a small group. This made for an excellent time, and everyone could get their questions answered and get to know each other. We went to three wineries and stopped in a small village for an excellent lunch (not included). Each winery was different and the wines were excellent. Highly recommend.

We had a super day with Alexia. She met the group on time, was really friendly and welcoming and got us all interacting with each other which really made the day special. Alexia was very knowledgeable and great at sharing this knowledge of wine and the vineyard processes in a fun way. Her passion for the subject was infectious along her love of Provence. The three vineyards we visited were all special in their own way with unique points of interest. Overall, a hugely enjoyable day, made all the more special by Alexias approach and her very warm personality. One of the highlights of our holiday. Had booked online from Ireland a few weeks ago and everything worked seamlessly. Would thoroughly recommend. Cathal and Margaret.

I highly recommend this tour…the guide was knowledgeable, personable and professional. She looked after us at the wineries facilitating each tasting. As a local resident, she shared information about the area as we drove, organized lunch reservations and really made the day enjoyable. Each winery has something to offer. Note, that the area is known for rosé, so not a lot of reds available for tasting.

My group of 3 really enjoyed the day learning about the various wines. The tour guide was very knowledgeabe and able to answer any of our questions asked. Each place was unique and stunning, and the wines were excellent. I definitely recommened this tour to anyone.

Amazing wine tour!!!

This wine tour was so much fun! We were a group of 6 friends. From booking to completion of the trip, they exceeded our expectations. I had numerous questions before booking and they answered each of them right away. The guide Nanou was wonderful. We had a great time learning about wines. Each winery was unique and we enjoyed all of them. The lunch that was offered was delicious and filling. Our guide Nanou was the best part - so friendly and very knowledgeable about wine. I would definitely recommend this day trip!

This was a lovely way to spend the day in the Provence Wine region. Our guide was pleasant, but she had no real knowledge of wine beyond the basics--not what we were expecting from this tour company. Lunch at Chateau St. Martin was not particularly good--dessert was the best course. Although our companions were extremely nice, it was clear that most of them were taking this day trip to drink heavily and not to learn about Provencal wines.

We had definitely a day to remember! Our day began by being picked up In Cannes by the lovely, friendly tour guide, Nanou - there were 7 of us and we soon got to know one another by the time we reached our first winery. Each of the 3 wineries were very different, each one fascinating and just beautiful settings. We tasted 5 wines at Chateau Saint Roux, 6 wines and a lovely buffet style lunch at Chateau Saint Martin, and another 3 at the Chateau Font du Broc. Nanou was so knowledgable throughout the entire tour, answering all our questions, explaining everything and showing us how to taste with all our senses. She really is passionate about her wine and it made for the most enjoyable fun day having her as our guide. I would not hesitate to recommend this wine tour and would love to go again when back in the region.

The wine tour was first-rate. We would go again, for the fun isn't simply the places you go, but the people you meet. Yannick was a great tour guide. He was slightly late arriving, but texted and phoned to keep us posted. He had an easy-going but keenly informed manner (and with nearly twenty years in the wine business it was clear he was both an enthusiast and an expert). His selection of vineyards was spot on, from something traditional to a most contemporary setting, and finishing with a cellar that took our breath away. Throughout the day we had relaxed, informal conversation about wine and things associated. The other folks on the tour were first-rate, too, and we had good fun sampling a number of wines as well as good conversations over lunch at one of the vineyards (which cost extra, but was fine value). I hadn't expected the tour to be such good fun and so informative. Had we visited these vineyards ourselves we wouldn't have gained half as much - Yannick's insights, opinions and contacts made all the difference. So I imagine that, even if we went on the same tour tomorrow, the chat would be different, we'd meet other interesting people, and Yannick would have more to tell us. All in all it was a great day out.

One of our favorite days in Provence!

We had a fantastic day wine touring three Provence wineries! Our tour guide, Danielle was sweet, knowledgeable and enjoyable to spend the day with. We spent a great deal of time at the first winery, where we toured, tasted and ate lunch. It was absolutely wonderful and delicious! The lunch is about 20 euro extra a person, but very much worth it. We had a typical French lunch of quiche, salad, cheeses, and dessert. The best part was you get to drink the wine from the tour with your lunch! The third winery visited was absolutely stunning. The grounds alone are something else! The only reason I am giving this tour four stars is the choice of the second winery. It was not a public winery and was more of a visit to someone’s garage with plenty of wine barrels and mold. The “natural” wine was awful and we barely could stomach the tasting. I would recommend that the company finds an alternative to the second winery. Overall we are very happy that we spent the money to do this tour. We met some wonderful people and tasted some of the most delicious wine at the first and third winery.

It is a great experience to learn the differences of the vineyards and their ways of grape cultivation. I was able to understand how the tastes of wines differs due to the environment, how to assess the wines in terms of smell, taste and color and get to see a wide spectrum of vineyards - controlled and non-controlled environment

We headed out from our pickup location with Nanou who has many years of experience I. The Provence wine industry. She took us to three very different wineries, each offering so.ething unique - an historic winery, a natural very rustic place and a beautiful chateau. There were only five in our group, so we got to know each other quite well over our lunch at the first winery (extra cost, but worth it). By the time we reached the second winery, we were old friends. And Nanou was so warm and friendly, we felt like we were on a friends trip rather than a guided tour. Abundance of wine, great information and tons of fun. Nanou is the best - an elegant lady who has a fun and free side to her. She really seemed to enjoy the day as much as we did...something rare for someone doing a job every day. My one bit of criticism is that the wineries didn't seem to know we were coming...there seemed to be some confusion as they seemed unprepared. But it certainly didn't detract from the day. In the French Riviera, be sure to see the other part of the area and visit some true Provencal wi series with VidiVino.
