Description

Discover the wine estates of the Gulf of St Tropez aboard THE car made mythical by Louis de Funès* in his many movies, one of the french best movie of all times !


 


Departure from your hotel or place of residence within the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. You will travel the roads of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez aboard your vintage car with your expert wine of the region. Take the time to look around, spend an unforgettable day discovering the vineyards of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez with your open roof (most of the time in the year) or with a blanquet during the colder winter month and listen to the sweet engine of this typical French car on our way to our first winery. We will take a short walk in the vineyards to give you some information about the region and its historical and cultural background and will then nead to the winery for our first tasting of 3 wines. We will explain you how to taste a wine so you never feel ashamed at the restaurant or at home when inviting friends :)


We will then take you to our second winery, visit of the cellar and tasting of 3 wines included. Return to your departure place.


 


* The wineries can vary according to your request and their availability. Times may vary according to the weather and your wishes. The departure is subject to weather conditions and in case of bad weather, the tour will be refunded.


*Louis de Funès is a famous French actor with lots of mimic and such a great humour who turned lots of movies (Les Gendarmes à Saint-Tropez is one of the most famous) here in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez!

we had a wonderful morning visiting two wineries in paulette (the car!) and would do it again in a heart beat. we went to one smaller production winery and one slightly bigger one, it’s was great informative and delicious, highly recommend!

Sonia did a wonderful job showing us around various wineries. She is a guide that is very knowledgable, warm, easy to talk. Paulette, Sonia's 2CV, is quite a beauty of a car as well and made for wonderful photos and social media video clips. At the recommendation of our quaint 5-star hotel in St.Tropez, we were offered the chance to rent an old vintage car, and possibly take it wine-tasting. My husband being a vintage french-car lover, it was perfect! Our scheduled day was quite rainy so we weren't able to take the vintage Citroen, and even without that - the tour that Sonia gave us was a "WOW!" We had no idea that the gulf of St. Tropez was so rich with wineries and we thoroughly enjoyed every second of it! Thank you beyondthewine.fr, I can't wait to send our clients your way! Sur la recommandation de notre pittoresque hôtel 5 étoiles à Saint-Tropez, on nous a proposé de louer une vieille voiture vintage et éventuellement de l'emmener faire une dégustation de vin. Mon mari étant un amateur de voitures anciennes françaises, c'était parfait ! Notre journée prévue était assez pluvieuse, nous n'avons donc pas pu prendre la Citroën vintage, et même sans cela, la visite que Sonia nous a donnée était un "WOW!" Nous n'avions aucune idée que le golfe de Saint-Tropez était si riche en vignobles et nous en avons vraiment apprécié chaque seconde ! A Great and Fun Way to Take a Wine Tour

Sonia and her team were amazing in communicating with me via email to help decide which tour would be best for my fiancée and I. The Wine tour was so much fun and the 2CV we drove around in was such a cool and unique experience. Sonia was so knowledgeable and friendly and I would gladly recommend her tours to anyone.
