Description
From the Gulf of Saint-Tropez*, we propose you to leave with your driver-guide for a beautiful wine tour in the Var hinterland, towards the Dracénie. On board our comfortable and air-conditioned van, your local guide and expert of the wines of his region will share with you his knowledge of the area.
You will start your day by discovering the Château d'Esclans. This sumptuous estate, bordered by cerulean hydrangeas, is located in the heart of Provence, north-east of Saint-Tropez, just a short distance from the Mediterranean. Château d'Esclans is home to the famous Whispering Angel.
We continue the day with a visit to Château de Saint-Martin, Cru Classé. Visit of the estate and VinoScénies, visit of their Liquoristerie and a tasting of 3 wines in the cellar of the estate will be proposed to you. In order to fully enjoy the place, we suggest you have lunch on the spot, a gourmet plate will be offered, concocted with fresh and seasonal products: a piece of savoury pie, salad, cold meats, Taradéen goat cheese, raw vegetables, seasonal dessert + water, bread, coffee and a bottle of wine for 4 people.
To end your day in style, we suggest you discover the Château Font du Broc and take in the sumptuous underground cellar. Immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of their cellars and let your senses take in the spirit of the estate's wines. At a depth of twenty metres, discover the wine-making and ageing cellar: a masterpiece of Cistercian-inspired architecture signed by the Compagnons du Tour de France artists.
*Pick up and drop off included in the price from the following villages: la Croix-Valmer, Gassin, Ramatuelle, Cogolin, Saint-Tropez, Port Grimaud, Grimaud and Sainte-Maxime.
