Obscuricolar Nights : guided tour of the cave & naturalist walk

Come live original experiences in nature, in the cave, in the forest and under the starfilled sky of Baume Obscure! These nocturnals are planned 4 nights a week, from 8 pm to midnight : Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Satsurdays . At night, far from the crowd and the urban noises, we invite you to awaken your senses to the sounds of Nature, first with an original exploration of the cave accompanied by a passionate speleologist, then with an unusual night walk listening to the woods animals. The magic then reveals itself along the way. In the dark, our ability to perceive sounds is stunning. Anyone who spent a night in the woods knows it quite well.           If observing wild animals is a rare privilege, our ears capt their presence. Will you recognize them ? Equipped with warm clothes, a small torch (big ones forbidden to avoid light pollution) you will go hunt the sounds of the forest animals all the way through a sounds parkour (recordings made by an audio-naturalist). Your goal is to recognize as many as you can by filling in the sheet that you will be given. Every Friday night, in addition to the visit of the cave, an astronomer and naturalist guide will be on site to enhance even more the experience of the wild life and exploration of the sky.
