• Since she was young, Cristina cut out pictures from magazines and created jumbles. She loved to visit the workshops of potters and spend hours watching their ancestral gestures. The Mediterranean, as was the case for countless artists, trained her eye to light, both the source and mirror of colour. She has followed the teachings of various artists such as Picasso, Chagall and Dalí.


• Plexiglas is her IKB, in a permanent tension between the contingency of the fossil resource and the immanence that its protean lightness suggests. She works this transparency in different ways with personal techniques that the artist has invented and developed, sublimating it into works of art. Each of these sculptures has its own identity and as many faces to discover. Abused, caressed, sometimes burned, twisted or embraced, this Plexiglas is magnified to the extreme, to the depths of his imagination.
