Immerse yourself in a truly French art-de-vivre with an unique olfactory journey to the Fragonard Perfume Museum in Paris, located right next door to the Opera Garnier. The perfect opportunity to discover an old private mansion sheltering a unique collection of ancient fragrance bottles. Immersed in a Second Empire atmosphere, visitors wander through a timeless space and traverse three thousand years of history.Know-how of Grasse, vanished raw materials, ancient fragrant objects, the museum is a perfumer’s laboratory.The second part of the museum exhibits ancient artistic objects and exploits of goldsmithery. Unusual, rare and precious bottles from the Pharaohs to Fabergé are unique witnesses of social and cultural habits.After the visit of 20 minutes, we invite you to unveil the history, the origin, the culture of this very special flower and the way it is used in perfumery. A moment of sensory and olfactory memory development with the explanation of the olfactory pyramid, the recognition of 3 blended compositions that enter into the Flower of the Year eau de toilette. During the workshop, you will create and customize, following the advices of our teacher, your own Eau de Toilette (12 ml in a spray).

  • Available in English, the guided tour lasts approximately 20 minutes and the workshop last approximately 15 minutes
  • Activity suitable for children from age 8 upwards and under sole responsability of a paying adult
  • All persons present in the classroom must reserve and pay for entry
  • Non paying attendants are not allowed to enter the classroom
  • Reservation through internet only and according to the dates open (weekly)

L’animatrice est très bien ! L’atelier est sympa mais un peu court Et n’explique pas vraiment le process de fabrication du parfum.

La guide était très sympathique et claire. Le petit plus aurait été des chaises, mais je comprends que la taille de la salle ne le permet pas. La réservation était simple. Oui l'activité est une bonne première approche.

The guide was kind and knowledgeable. I learned a lot and enjoyed it very much. The only difficulty was finding which door to enter to find my tour starting point. I would recommend this to anyone who likes fragrances.

This atelier was incredibly rushed. I didn't even have time to fully fill my perfume, which is what I paid for. perfume making takes time to get right especially as a beginner, and with the rushed time frame I could have easily left the atelier with something I didn't even like the scent of. The visit after the workshop was also rushed and I barely had time to look at each of the rooms before I was ushered into the next one. The guide, while nice, was woefully unprepared and unknowledgeable about the subject matter and couldn't even answer questions. the final section in the boutique downstairs was so loud I couldn't hear the descriptions of any of the signature Fragonard perfumes.

The leader of the tour and workshop was a excellent representative of Fragonard parfumerie. Very enjoyable hour and also helpful assistance in purchases after the workshop. I would have liked to hear about the founding family since the commercial strategy is very unique.

La visite du musée était intéressante et j'ai appris pas mal de choses. Cependant, je pensais pouvoir choisir les essences parmi une sélection durant l'atelier ; or, les trois essences (tête, cœur et fond) étaient prédéfinies et on pouvait seulement en choisir les proportions. A part ça, c'était très amusant !

Meiner achtjährigen Tochter und mir hat der Workshop sehr gut gefallen. Er war nicht allzu lang aber abwechslungsreich da wir aktiv in die Welt der Düfte eingeführt wurden. Unsere Workshopleiterin war sehr freundlich und hat uns während der kurzen aber sehr informativen Führung durch das Museum bestens begleitet.

VERY elegant and good approach to luxury. I spent nice time with the team (we were 12) , interesting from historical and business prospective. Love the quite room where we felt treat like kings / queens. STRONG SUGGESTION: despite your clients seems that they are most woman, you should consider (as well) something for both man/woman. Right now, it is very into flowers approach with the concept of 'it could be interesting' for your wife if you want to give her a present. We all know that there are other fragrances that can stimulate man interest as well.... SMILE.. It is pity, this will take part of the potential client out.I count on you to balance the business approach.

C'est une activité agréable à faire si on recherche quelque chose de différent. Comme la visité guidée est gratuite à la base, ça fait un peu cher pour partir avec 12ml de parfum, mais c'est le fun.

J'ai adoré les expliquations fournies pendant la fabriquation de notre parfum. Notre guide à pris son temps à nous voir 1 à 1. Rien ne m'a déplu et la réservation était facile à faire. J'ai déjà recommendé à plusieurs cette activité. Je retournerai bien aussi.

bonjour, j'ai réservé l'atelier pour moi, mes deux filles et ma soeur et nous sommes toutes conquises! c'était un moment super ludique et magique. Nous avons adoré entendre notre guide qui était très bien informé et qui était très gentille avec le groupe. Le lieu est superbe et l'atelier est bien conçu. Je me vois bien refaire cet atelier un deuxième fois et je recommande de le faire à n'importe quel age. TOP!

I went on this tour (and workshop) with my 12 year old daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide, SueEllen, was very friendly and informative. We learned a lot about perfume making, and the collection from the Fragonard family was impressive. And it was fun to make our own perfume! Lastly, it was great to then test the perfumes in the store, after what we'd learned (and they were very reasonably priced!) I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in perfume.

Je ne recommanderai pas cette activité, tout le monde a été déçu. Faire un atelier avec une seule proposition imposée de note de tête, cœur et fond ne revient pas à créer son "own eau de toilette". Tout le monde repart avec une mini fiole qui sent la même chose, ça ne vaut pas le prix de l'atelier. Proposer 3 options de chaque ou au moins dans la note de cœur aurait été le minimum pour ressortir à minima avec un parfum qui nous ressemble.

1. Our guide was very attentive, friendly, welcoming. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. 2. I had difficulty booking because there was only 1 availability and I had a friend visiting for such a short period of time When I rang, the lady on the phone was very helpful and booked us in as an exception - very grateful!!!!! 3. The visit was very enjoyable and we learned a lot. Great value for money!

Overall everyone at Fragonard was very nice and extremely helpful. They added me to the workshop last-minute which was very much appreciated. Sasha, the tour and experience leader, was very knowledgeable and friendly. The museum tour and mini-fragrance workshop were both great and I highly recommend to anyone interested in fragrance to check them out. I went home with three fragrances (one I created myself in the workshop) and am very happy with all of them!
